Rep. Stephens delivers check for street and road improvements to Highland

Highland….Representative Ron Stephens (R-Highland) was happy to deliver a check for $150,000 to the city of Highland for street and road improvements on Monday.

Rep. Stephens also delivered a check for $100,000 that is to be used to fund the roundabout construction located on Poplar Street.

“I am pleased to be able to present this money to Highland,” Rep. Stephens said. “I have always been happy to help Highland and the other communities in my district with the construction projects they need.”

The money will be used by Highland to cover construction costs associated with a variety of upcoming street and road related projects throughout the city.

The construction of the roundabout on Poplar Street has already begun.
